Hot off the presses: Drugs and guns seized after Lower Sackville search September 20, 2013, HRM:
The Halifax RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) has arrested several people after a search in Lower Sackville.
Last evening, 9:40 pm, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on Seawood Avenue.
Eight people were arrested. Police seized a quantity of marihuana, cocaine, prescriptions, drug related property and cash. Officers also seized four handguns and other stolen property.
Two males are currently in police custody. A 15-year-old and 18-year-old from Lower Sackville face drug trafficking charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). They will be appearing in court this morning.
A 21-year-old man from Lower Sackville will also face weapons and drug charges. He will be appearing in court at a later date.
The investigation is continuing and police anticipate other people will be charged.

I don’t really care what people do as long as innocent people don’t get hurt. Also, last time I checked I was not running around the suburbs with a handgun. It’s life and it is everywhere for sure. It’s just a news blurb, no biggie.
